Where do I send my books of nonsense?

Love the site, the books are great. I do some similar stuff - maybe check out my website too? www.abigailthomas.co.uk - also a fan of schwitters, he was a brilliant detritus collector...

I loved loking through the images of your work, the repetition, order and patterns particularily appealed to me, as this is what crops up frequently in my work. i also loved looking it your artist books, and they reminded me of Tom Phillips work, which i love. Altered booksis something I would love to get into more, and its nice to see another artist working with them. It is also particularily good to see such a well notated website, very useful. thank you!

Hi Emma, what do you think about artists who make representations of rejectamenta? like in photos or paintings? I was thinking of Lisa Milroys early work which is arranged in grids?
Also I am anoher of Pauls supervisorees, doing work on eco textiles and thinking about seeting up a website yours is v.good, and I hear it has helped in research for you, I hope to meet up with you at some point..best wishes, Annie

love your work emma. and the way you write about rejectamenta. it's great inspiration. and validation.
i'm currently using papers from consumer goods that require the use of water, ie. tea, instant oatmeal, to make 108 strands of 108 prayer beads. 10,000+ prayer beads. wonder how long it will take me!

Hi, I'm an artist in the US and finishing up my bachelor's degree and found your website on the Altered Book website. My partner is an auctioneer here and she sells all sorts of things and at the end of the auction there is often scraps leftover that people don't see any value in, so she brings it home to me. I've been making mixed media collage, books, altered books with these throw away objects as well as doing some purchase of the objects myself during the auction. I enjoyed your work here, and really like your idea of rejectamenta and how to take an object and find another use for it in artwork to make it's conception show as something much different. Thanks and I'll keep your site bookmarked to see your progress. Rose

Wonderful work!! - I've spent nearly an hour on your site - how do you find the time to do all this? I've started collecting bits and am scouring the charity shops for suitable books to alter, the trouble is I end up buying other books - 10 yesterday, but I haven't told Geof! Have a great holiday. See you soon.

I like your website and am interested in your study. I sometimes use found objects for my artwork and especially use junk mail pictures, cutting them out before recyling it.
