Well the good weather has meant more allotment work than arty work.

As the weather continues to be fine there is much to do in the garden to distract me from printmaking!
Lettuces transplanted into bigger quarters, seedlings moved into pots and the sweet peas have just sprouted.
Hopefully we will have some lettuce during the Autumn and Winter…

More screenprinting of circles and type today – still playing around with pieces for Home exhibition book.
Then into the garden for some compost moving and spreading! Came across this lovely circular piece of ice with 2 leaves trapped in it. Found it on top of a metal bucket of weeds!

I was turning 1 of my 11 compost heaps today and came across the remnants of a wasp nest. I had to avoid it all summer as the wasps were very active. Now the wasps are gone I can enjoy the beauty of their living quarters!
