I have been sorting through my letterpress prints and then taking sections from each of the 4 people’s prints. These will then be used for screenprinting. I have some that are also the full set of words for each section. No doubt these will all be layered up / probably with different colour ways for each person. Need to coat my screens with photo emulsion and then expose the images. Only then will I be ready to screenprint.

Just when I thought there was no more letterpress to be done for the moment…

I decided to start looking at the overlapping words between the 4 people. Now I have a nice collection of groups of words each exploring different relations. There are links between all 4 of us

These are then followed by links between pairs and trios. This seems to have added an extra layer of information and secrecy – excellent!

My letterpress prints are building up. Person no.2 is now finished, as is no.3 and I have just started on the last person = myself! After they are all finished it will be time to scan them into the Mac and make the artwork for screenprinting. Looking forward to that bit.

At the moment I have a few projects on the go and am printing them at the same time. Some cards and some tests for my entry for the wlyb Home exhibition.

This is all work in progress and not finished pieces. Printed at home as I have turned my daughter’s bedroom into a screenprinting area! She is away at Uni so doesn’t mind (that much).
